Re-branding: How to Get the Job Done
During Marcia’s tenure at FIS, she has taken on the herculean task of re-branding and re-positioning the company’s corporate identity and portfolio of 300-plus products. Today, we are very fortunate to have Marcia sharing with us just how she went about that effort.
About Marcia Danzeisen:
Marcia Danzeisen is senior vice president of Global Marketing and Communications at FIS. In this role, she reports directly to the chief operating officer. Danzeisen is responsible for strategically planning and coordinating all branding, advertising, media relations, special events, internal and external communications and other marketing-related activities for FIS.
Danzeisen’s career spans consumer banking, automotive finance and mortgage, including nearly 20 years directing the corporate marketing and communications functions for large global financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America, as well as high-tech leaders Xerox and IBM.
During her tenure at FIS, Danzeisen has re-branded and re-positioned the company’s corporate identity and portfolio of 300-plus products. She is known for her ability to identify and attract key talent, for building a global team that is focused on and accountable for marketing-driven revenue, and for instilling a culture of employee commitment through corporate communications and employee engagement initiatives. Danzeisen is a member of the organization’s speaker’s bureau and frequently presents in marketing and communications forums nationwide on topics regarding branding and building a global presence.
Danzeisen recently received a “Woman of Influence” award from the Jacksonville Business Journal, which recognizes the most influential and prominent women in business and the community in Northeast Florida.
