Speaker Bios: Engaging Employees, Despite the Obstacles

Session 5 (Friday, 4:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.)
Engaging employees, despite the obstacles

It’s never been more challenging to be an internal communicator—and deal with limited resources, increased workload and higher expectations. But these times also present an opportunity: to make a case for change and to deliver communication that engages employees to help the organization succeed.

During this interactive session, employee communication thought leaders, Alison Davis and Steve Church, will provide communicators with strategies for:

  • understanding employees’ needs and preferences,
  • using this knowledge to design communication that cuts through the clutter,
  • making small changes that have a big impact on engagement, and
  • doing more with less to reduce communication overload while increasing effectiveness.
